Suitable layered clothing, a spare bag to pack your purchases into, a warm jacket or coat, walking shoes, camera, shopping bags for purchases, swimming gear for hot pools.

9am We will collect you from your accommodation or Christchurch Airport to begin our day with a high tea at the reputable Penny Black Victorian Tearooms at The Tannery. We have two op shop destinations today one in Ferrymead, lunch stop in Kaiapoi with one Op Shop visit before travelling to North Canterbury for the evening with a lovely meal all together.

A café breakfast before a big morning of looking for treasures around some great North Canterbury op shops and a lunch stop in Rangiora and a chance to browse some more. With parcels secured onboard our trailer, we will drive to Hanmer Springs for a two-night stay and dinner out tonight.

Today is for relaxation, we have booked a luxury pedicure, hand massage and manicure and a full body massage for you. You are free to explore Hanmer and use your pool pass at any time today and meet up for dinner tonight.

Today we will travel back to the city for more op shopping and a special visit to a quirky garden full of unique sculptures and a delicious gift shop to browse. Tonight, we will stay in Christchurch and have a progressive dinner around the city centre.
After breakfast, we will drive to Lyttleton for a forage at The Garage Sale, then we will return to Riccarton House for a guided tour of the historic home and a good insight to the early pioneers on the Canterbury plains. After a bite of lunch, it’s time to say our farewells, Airport drop off is available or you may wish to stay on in the city.
